so this set was an experiment in new colouring so it's not the most consistent. i was messing around with textures and gradients for this set and i'm still not sure if i like it but thought i'd share them anyways. i'm going to be making at least one more set of anya as a brunette (though if i can find more caps i might make more).

also this movie was horrible to edit. i haven't seen it but i think it's safe to say that the true horror is the lighting. i made these because i was in need of anya icons where she was brunette and also the flannel here was a plus (okay - i'm playing book!bella swan come and judge me idgaf). i usually avoid movies where the "bad guy" has mental illness because it's never done right or well but maybe if i need background noise because anya looks like she kicked ass.

I actually really love Split because of James and Anya just. destroying everything with the power of their acting. But yes these are amazing looking and you did great with the dark ass lighting you had <3

I think it helps a lot it's got a supernatural bent to it and isn't trying to BE hard science anything (because it's all clearly bullshit/fiction)? It helps me overlook the whole mentally-ill-villain thing. But yeah James and Anya are def worth watching, hardcore.

And man idek if the world is ready for srs twilight...

it can't be much worse than that netflix movie i watched where the character having DID was the plot twist and they went so far as to distort the voice of the evil personality because how else would we know she was EVIL.

the world would probably never be ready, which is all the more reason lol also actual indigenous rep pls

they even set it up like it could get a sequel! i'd say in what universe but if stalked by my doctor is a franchise than this one can be too. but stalked by my doctor is at least ...good lol.

probably not. my fave show of last year had AMAZING indigenous rep and then it turned out the fucking show runner had lied about being indigenous so even though she quit they still cancelled the show and i will NEVER be over it.

RIGHT?! i don't get why they didn't just buy her out or why they'd still have to pay her because she quit?! the show won a ton of awards too and i think is one of the first with nearly 100% indigenous cast.

i think it's still worth watching since the cast and crew do such a good job. i really hope they go on to do more things. also the music slaps (i might rewatch and make a journal... or two)
